Love Week

It's easy to talk about serving the community, but we're not just talking about it. We're doing it. Love Week 2012 is our opportunity to love, serve and give back to Southwest Michigan. Whether you live in Kalamazoo, Portage, Battle Creek, Lawton or any of the surrounding cities, we've got over 50 projects available for you and your family to serve at. Our goal is to simply love our city together. Be a part of projects like these:

-Build homes with Habitat for Humanity
-Serve a meal at the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission
-Do roadside cleanup in Kalamazoo
-Weed flower beds in a senior community
-Paint a playground at a local school
-Give blood with MI Blood

A project for everyone: Kalamazoo County Backpack Giveaway
Help us equip nearly 1,000 kids considered homeless in Kalamazoo County for school this year! We need the following school supplies:

-#2 Pencils
-Filler paper
-Pocket folders

Through August 12th, we'll be collecting resources to stuff the backpacks of kids in need in Kalamazoo County Schools. We'll provide the backpacks, but we need you to help provide the stuffing! School supplies can be dropped off on Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:30, or during any weekend service in the Atrium.

This is just some of what we're doing! For more information on the latest serving opportunities, you can always visit the tables in the Atrium, or click on the button below to sign up! Contact with questions.
