Julie Greichunos

Creative Arts Director

Julie has always been involved in music through theatre, musicals and singing in local rock/pop bands. She was born and raised in the great state of Iowa. After attending the University of Iowa to study the Arts, she met her husband David and they relocated to Michigan with their two children, Brandis and Collin.

In 2002, they started to attend Valley Family Church and Julie joined the VFC Staff in 2007. Prior to being on staff, Julie served as the Director for the March of Dimes in Southwest Michigan. During that time, she was instrumental in lobbying for legislation to amend the State of Michigan public health code which resulted in establishing updated newborn testing protocols.

Today, Julie serves as the Creative Arts Director at VFC. This includes all of the worship and programming for every weekend service. Julie loves leading the VFC congregation in worship and says it’s a privilege to help people enter into the presence of God and to sing of His Goodness! “When we give Him thanks and praise; we aren’t just singing, we are drawing closer to God.  There is something powerful when people come together to corporately worship God.”
