Valley Nights provides an opportunity for every Valley Family Church member to learn, grow, and develop their relationship with the Lord so they feel equipped to be a minister in the marketplace. Valley Nights includes classes that focus on spiritual growth, Biblical knowledge, and leadership development. Additionally, Valley Nights offers a unique in-person learning environment where individuals can cultivate meaningful relationships with one another.
Each term we offer a variety of classes that are designed to help you grow in your faith and build your relationship with God. This term at Valley Nights we’re excited to offer three unique classes.

Discipleship
We’re passionate about walking the road of discipleship and being formed into the image of Christ as we follow in the way of Jesus rather than the way of the world. Our heart is that we would learn to walk, talk and look like Him in all we do.Â
Basics 101 | Getting a Grip on the Basics
This class will strengthen the foundation of your faith. Not only will your own faith be encouraged, but you will gain confidence in your beliefs so you can share with others. We’ll cover topics like: how to know for sure you’re a Christian, how to pray, how to hear from God, how to develop your faith, how to be an overcomer, how to live the abundant life, how to be filled with the Spirit, and more! This class offers a theological overview of the tenants of our faith. We encourage EVERYONE to take this class again and again.

- Every Wednesday from 6-7:30pm starting October 2
- Pre-Req for any Valley Nights Class
- Book Requirement: Getting a Grip on the Basics – each week we will go through a chapter or two. You will want this book to fill in the blanks, take notes, and have as a reference for the future. Books can be purchased online or at the Valley Family Church Pop Up Shop or Info Center.
Christian Ethics
Christian Ethics is a class designed to help you engage in meaningful conversations and thoughtful analyses of important ethical topics such as sanctity of life, human sexuality, substance consumption, and other contemporary moral questions. Rooted in the teachings of the Bible and from an Orthodox Christian perspective, this class offers a comprehensive exploration of Christian ethical principles to help you navigate complex issues with unwavering faith and discernment. You will feel empowered to address these challenging ethical issues with wisdom, grace and biblical integrity. The cost is $30 for 8 weeks and includes a book to supplement your learning.

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality
Emotionally Healthy Spirituality is a transformative class that offers practical tools to integrate emotional health and contemplative spirituality into your walk with Christ. You'll discover how emotional maturity and spiritual depth are inseparably linked, learn to break free from unhealthy patterns and cultivate life-giving rhythms through practices like stillness, solitude, and Scripture. By the end of the class, you’ll have a deeper relationship with God, greater self-awareness, and sustainable habits that nurture spiritual growth. Course materials include the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality book, workbook, and Day by Day Devotional. Cost: $35.

Basics 101: Getting a Grip on the Basics for Kids
This special class for 3rd-8th graders will take students on a journey through the Bible where they can discover the joy of a personal relationship with Jesus. They will grow in the foundations of their faith, gaining confidence in their beliefs and understanding that God has a plan for their lives. They will get familiar with their Bible as they look up verses and answer questions from the workbook, and they will discover the truth from God’s Word for themselves. Along the way they will build meaningful relationships with new friends.

- For kids 3rd-8th grade
- Teachers: Tori Pilger, Tara Farrell, and Dana Evey
- Book Requirement: Getting a Grip on the Basics for Kids – each week students will go through a chapter! Students can fill in the blanks and have reference for the future. Books can be purchased online or at the Valley Family Church Pop Up Shop or Info Center.
